Blessing Day

We had a really special day a couple of weeks ago. We blessed both Jack and Lachlan and we had Lachlan sealed to us in the Temple. Here are some pictures from that day:

Tubbing Outside

Lachlan combines two of her favorite activities - tubbing and being outside (April 2007):

Easter Picnic Pictures

Here are some pictures from the Murray Family Easter picnic (April 2007):

Lachlan eating lunch

Jack during lucnh

Lachlan hunting for goodies

Jack during the easter egg hunt

Quite a haul!

We also celebrated cousin Jonah's birthday with pinata fun but Lachlan seemed more interested in eating some of the granola bars she found during the easter egg hunt.

Cat Beds Everywhere

The cats think it's pretty cool that we have put new beds all over the house just for them. They wonder why the new little humans are always trying to use them. Here's a picture of Fritz and Ernie relaxing with the plush pig:

Lachlan really likes to push and ride her tractor. Here are some pictures from March 2007:

Stroller Ride

Pictures of Jack and Lachlan in their stoller (March 2007):

Lachlan likes to pretend she is on the phone.

Lachlan Eats Cake

Here are some pictures of Lachlan enjoying a piece of chocolate cake (March 2007):

Of course, the day wouldn't be complete without her favorite activity - tub time!

Weigh in on the new scale

I don't have any pictures to post tonight because they are all on the computer in Jack's room but I swear one of these days I am going to get them and post some of the greatest pictures you have ever seen. You will love them, I promise. Unfortunately, it's not going to happen tonight.

I did have a few minutes and I thought I would at least update those of you that are checking in on some fun facts. We bought a scale with a digital read out last weekend and decide to have a weigh in to see if Jack and Lachlan were getting close to the same weight class. You may remember that they are 15 months different in age - Jack will be 4 months and Lachlan 19 months old this month - but lately we've been hearing, "Oh, are these twins?", quite a bit. In fact, at the store on Saturday we told the clerk "No, they are actually 15 months different in age" but she still thought that Jack was the older child. So, apparently Jack is coming on strong but I still thought Lachlan was holding her own. Now, the results from the official unofficial weigh in - not taking into consideration diaper weight or other factors:

Lachlan - 16.2
Jack - 12.3

She's still ahead by 4 pounds but she needs to kick it in gear and take her training up a notch to stay ahead of the game. Jack has a doctor's appointment next week and Lachlan has her dental surgery so we'll get some "official" numbers for them at those visits. Personally I think this scale is broken just like our old one - it still seems to be reading way too heavy when I use it. Strange.
