Hokie Pokie

Lachlan learned how to do the Hokie Pokie. As many of you know, she enjoys a good "boogie woogie". In fact, she will downright shake her bootie to anything--including church hymns and the weather forecast. The best part about watching her do the "hokie" is that she turns herself around while singing the chorus to "Wheels on the Bus" (which she learned at swimming lessons). She tends to bounce like a rapper and purse her lips together (think Zoolander), there is also a bit of head bobbing and swaying. It really is something that we should get on tape. It is hard to remember to go get the camera because it is a bit captivating in a very odd sort of way.

We had our 6month visit to Dr. V. Jack weighed in at 15 lbs. 7 oz. and was 25 inches long. That puts him in the 10th percentile for weight and the 3rd for height...yeah, pee wee, but very cute. His head, of course, was in the 70th percentile- to cover up all that brain. Lachlan weighed in at 16 lbs. 7 oz. and was 29 inches...folks, we have gained a pound and a half and grown another TWO inches. I also can report that her foot grew an entire size (up to a 3). This is fantastic news. I am glad that all of the butter, cheese, whole milk, and extra fat is starting to pay off. She really is starting to look healthy. Now if only her hair would grow!

Rose and Jeff,

The kids are adorable and it sounds like they are growing great! One weekend when you in Coalville, you'll have to let us know, so we can get together (we're in Morgan a few times a month.)

I would love to see the "hokie pokie" dance!

Love,
Kristee
